First International Congress on Research on Foreign and National Languages Century XXI: Publication of Results

The Cundinamarca University, through its English Area, is pleased to invite you to participate in its first International Congress on Research on Foreign and National Languages ​ Century ​XXI: publication of results, presenting proposals in relation to pedagogical reflections, research studies, workshops or posters in English. This event will be held on Thursday 11^th and Friday 12^th November 2021 by means of Zoom.

This international congress provides an appropriate scenery to reflect on research trends for teaching practice and to be acquainted with current language teaching tendencies, which might help attendees become better researchers and English and Spanish teachers.

Objectives:

• To reflect on research and teaching practice and to be acquainted with current language teaching tendencies in English and other languages.
• To discuss current EFL teaching practices in international and national institutions.
• To gather researchers, educators, students, and other groups interested in teaching languages to present their works on the research and educational development.

Types of participations as a speaker:

• Pedagogical reflections

The pedagogical reflection involves analysis on specific topics related to the teaching and learning practices.

(1 or 2 participants, 50 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for questions, Pages: 5 maximum and 4 minimum without Title pages)

• Research reports

The research report presents a problem, main objective(s), theoretical support, methodology, and research results.

• Workshops

The workshop is based on teaching techniques or academic activities.

• Posters: Research proposals

Poster presents research experiences in teaching and learning fields.
